Hello, lovelies! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and most importantly, stayed warm! It was by far one of the coldest weekends this winter. And it snowed, which was AH-some! Aria and I watched movies, played in the snow, played indoors, cooked some Nigerian food (delicious!), watched lots and lots of Sesame Street episodes, and I attempted to organize my closet.
In honor of our lovely white snowfall, here’s a rewind of my weekend, but first your daily cup of inspiration c/o Frank Ocean.
Anyone can give up, it’s the easiest thing ever. But to hold it together when everyone else thinks you’d fall apart is true strength. –Frank Ocean
Arianna and I taking a mommy+me self-portrait… and I love this vintage-esque mirror, dontcha?
Arianna looking at snow safely + warmly from inside.
I stayed cozy and warm in a grey sweater dress, ribbon tie sweater and infinity scarf all H&M. Love my legwarmers? Yup, I am wearing legwarmers–love them! I’ve had ‘em for years! To me, they’ll never go out of style!
This colorful canvas art is hanging in our kitchen/living room space. This IS exactly how I live my life.
My adorable little girl playing in the snow…she loves the snow! Who knew!
Selfie shot for my Instagram followers…black jumpsuit + messy up-do w/banging bangs! No makeup, of course!
So while organizing my closet, I found this sequence mini skirt from a couple of years ago. I love that it still fits!
One of my closets…I tried to organize it but all I did was try clothes on to see which one fits. Do you ever do that…inevitably, I tried on something that reminded me I still have a few lbs. to drop, so needless to say the organizing ended right there! To deal with the let down, I poured myself a glass of Cabernet. And before I knew it Monday is here and I have well over 250 unread emails to catch up on.
Now you know what I did this weekend, what did you do?
