Happy Hump Day, blog readers!

I hope you’re all doing fantastic and stay cool in the summer heat. My apologies for always disappearing, I really don’t mean to. I know it’s starting to sound like an excuse. I have been so busy doing all sorts of fun stuff, aka motherhood, and not so fun stuff, grueling Q&A sesh. I have been holding out from telling all of you, but I’ve been interviewing for a new job for a while now. And there’s a really, really, really good chance that I might land this one job that will essentially make my career, and set me up on a path to great things. So stay tuned, follow me on Instagram, search for @iamGlor // see you there (leave a comment so I can follow you back.  Or, follow on Twitter; same handle.

Also, I recently took a trip to the country to visit my best friend, who’d just became a first time mommy. She lives on a 150 acres on a beautiful farm, in the most amazing, gorgeous, ridiculously amazeballs historic farm house. Ugh, this place is sick.

Her husband is all you want/need a husband to be; we all dream and fantasize about men like him. I’m soooooooooo incredibly lucky and blessed to have them in my life. Anyway, I met my nephew and I’m completely in love with him. I just cannot wait to go back up. And you’re all going to get to experience it all when I share MORE photos, soon on the blog. So stay tuned and connected via Insta.

Sooooooooo, dolls, I’m gonna leave you with today’s morning cup of inspiration, which was inspired by Whitney Houston. We all love her don’t we? Miss her, but so grateful to have her music to keep her memory alive.

“Yeah, I wanna dance with somebody who loves me”–Whitney Houston🎶

You can look at the literal meaning of this song lyrics by the great Whitney Houston, or you can look at it the way I do: I want to dance/laugh/love/eat/sleep/kiss/travel/make love/have kids/share “remember when stories”/kiss in the rain/read the newspaper on a quiet Sunday am/grow old and share all the wonderful (and sometimes not so wonderful life moments)/basically do EVERYTHING with somebody who LOVES me.

Flashback Friday

Hellllllllllooooo my friends! TGIF!

I bet you’re all excited it’s Friday. I know I am! Today’s flashback is to my college years and my very first trip to Time Square in NYC. What an amazing city, I swear I could spend all day there!

So I’ve had this awful itch for a long, long, long time now: to cut or not cut my hair? This whole time I’ve been looking elsewhere for inspiration when I really should have been looking at my own personal style. Lol, I think we all do this and it’s not a bad thing, it’s just we forget to look at ourselves for strength, bravery, and in my case, for style inspiration.

Anyway, if you ever wanted to know what my hair looked like back in college (which is really just a few years ago), THIS picture captures it perfectly. I remember this day like it was yesterday, too. I had spent a week with my then boyfriend and like three of our closest couple friends at a private house on the water in Rhode Island. Our friends rented the house for the entire month! Then we spent a few days fishing on a private island in Connecticut, then a few days with friends up in Boston, and finally a day trip out to NYC by train. In two weeks I went from Connecticut to Rhode Island, to Boston, to New Hampshire, and NYC. So ending the trip in NYC was so magical and one that I’ll never forgot. It sorta made up for all those nights I stayed up studying, writing papers, and trying to maintain my Dean’s list status. I did graduate with honors after all!

Wow, that was a flashback! Lol…

So I need your help, should I cut my hair like this again? HELP!

Thanks!

Glor
